Back Workout: Building the Foundation for My Next Phase
Today’s workout was focused on one of the most important areas of my body: my back.
I started with lat pulldowns, working through different grips to target the back from multiple angles. I included both wide-grip and close-grip variations, focusing on controlled movements and trying to feel the muscles working rather than simply moving the weight.

I also included rowing movements to work on my mid-back and overall pulling strength. The goal was to build a more complete back by training different areas rather than relying on a single exercise.
After finishing my back workout, I followed it with some light cardio. At this stage, I’m not trying to destroy myself in every session. I’m gradually rebuilding my routine, improving my conditioning, and preparing my body for a more demanding training phase.
The Next Step
Starting Monday, I want to take things up another level.
I’ll begin incorporating more compound movements into my training and progressively challenge myself with exercises that develop strength, muscle, stability, and athleticism.
But this time, I also want to approach my transformation more scientifically.
Instead of judging progress only by how I look in the mirror or what the scale says, I’m going to start measuring my progress in detail.
I want to track things such as:
- Body weight
- Waist measurement
- Body-fat percentage
- Strength levels
- Training volume
- Cardio performance
- Measurements of different body parts
- Daily nutrition and macros
- Sleep and recovery
- Flexibility and mobility
- Overall fitness performance
The goal isn’t simply to work harder. The goal is to understand what is actually working.
This is becoming more than just a gym routine. It is an experiment in rebuilding my body, improving my discipline, and learning exactly how my body responds to training, nutrition, recovery, and consistency.
Today was another step. Monday begins the next phase.
No rushing. No shortcuts. Just consistent work, measurable progress, and continuous improvement.
