Today, I Started My Running Training Again

Today marked the beginning of a new chapter in my running journey.

After spending time building my fitness through the gym, I decided it was time to bring running back into my training routine. I want to become faster, more explosive, athletic, and capable—not just strong.

I started today’s session with a small, easy jog to warm up my body and get myself into the rhythm of running. It felt good to move again and gradually increase my heart rate without rushing into intense work.

Once I was warmed up, I moved on to 100–200 meter sprints. The focus was on speed, acceleration, and explosive movement. The short sprints pushed me much harder than the initial jog, and they reminded me how demanding running fast can be.

After the sprints, I moved into plyometric exercises. These explosive movements were designed to work on power, coordination, reactivity, and athleticism. Combining sprinting with plyometrics made the session feel much more like athletic training rather than simply doing cardio.

I finished the workout with a stretching session, giving my body time to cool down and relax after the running and explosive exercises.

It was only the beginning, but that is exactly what makes today important.

I don’t expect to become fast overnight. I want to build my running ability gradually, improve my technique, develop stronger and more powerful legs, and eventually become a much more complete athlete.

Today was Day 1.

The goal isn’t simply to run.

The goal is to become strong, fast, explosive, mobile, and enduring—and today, I took the first step toward that goal.

The running journey starts again. 🏃‍♂️🔥
